Summary:To provide a construction machine in which wiping work is omitted by preventing dripping of fuel attached to the cap of a fuel tank around the fuel tank.SOLUTION: A construction machine has a catch 15 and a latch 25 which engage with each other when a tank cover 24 is closed so as to keep the tank cover 24 in a closed state. In this state, the oil filling port 11 of a fuel tank 9 is fitted to the catch 15. Thus, impact caused by collision of the latch 25 with the catch 15 when the tank cover 24 is closed, is transmitted to a cap 13 via the catch 15, to shake down the fuel attached to the cap 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】 燃料タンクのキャップに付着した燃料が燃料タンクの周囲に垂れ落ちるのを防止することにより、拭き取り作業等を省略できるようにする。【解決手段】 タンクカバー２４を閉じたときに互いに係合することによりタンクカバー２４を閉じた状態に保持するキャッチ１５およびラッチ２５を備えている。この上で、燃料タンク９の給油口１１は、キャッチ１５に取付ける構成としている。これにより、タンクカバー２４を閉じたときにラッチ２５とキャッチ１５とが衝突することによって生じる衝撃を、キャッチ１５を介してキャップ１３に伝え、キャップ１３に付着した燃料を払い落とす。【選択図】 図３
