Summary: | To provide a method for manufacturing an electrode that can stably manufacture an electrode including an electrode mixture layer having a desired film thickness.SOLUTION: An electrode manufacturing apparatus 100 includes a first roll 10, a second roll 20, and a third roll 30. A rolling gap G1 is formed between the first roll 10 and the second roll 20 to roll an electrode material A and form a mixture coating film B, and a crimping gap G2 for crimping the mixture coating film B and an electrode current collector C is formed between the second roll 20 and the third roll 30. The electrode manufacturing apparatus 100 includes a spring-like mechanism 40 for energizing the third roll 30 to the second roll 20, the crimping gap G2 fluctuates according to change of reaction force from the mixture coating film B. As a result, it can be prevented that the third roll 30 cannot follow the reaction force from the mixture coating film B, resulting in occurrence of pressing failure, and variation in film thickness of the electrode mixture layer D2 after manufacturing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】所望の膜厚の電極合材層を有した電極を安定的に製造できる電極の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】ここに開示される電極製造装置100は、第1ロール10と、第2ロール20と、第3ロール30とを備えており、第1ロール10と第2ロール20との間に、電極材料Aを圧延して合材塗膜Bを形成する圧延ギャップG1が形成され、かつ、第2ロール20と第3ロール30との間に、合材塗膜Bと電極集電体Cとを圧着する圧着ギャップG2が形成されている。そして、ここに開示される電極製造装置100では、第3ロール30を第2ロール20に向かって付勢するバネ状機構40を備えており、合材塗膜Bからの反力の変動に応じて圧着ギャップG2が変動する。これによって、合材塗膜Bからの反力に第3ロール30が追従できずに押圧不良が生じることを防止し、製造後の電極合材層D2の膜厚のバラつきを低減できる。【選択図】図1 |
