To provide a vehicle control device which can suppress that an unnecessary collision avoidance behavior is performed.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device comprises: a lane detection unit 31 which detects a lane on which a vehicle 10 travels; a routing unit 32 which sets a route on which the vehicle 10 is scheduled to travel along the detected lane; a detection unit 33 which detects a lane division line dividing the lane on which the vehicle 10 travels and an obstacle existing in the surroundings of the vehicle 10; an effective section specification unit 34 which specifies an effective section coincident with the detected lane division line of the scheduled route; and a control unit 36 which controls a behavior of the vehicle 10 to avoid collision between the obstacle and the vehicle 10 when a position of the obstacle is included in the effective section, and the obstacle is located on the scheduled route.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】必要の無い衝突回避挙動が行われることを抑制可能な車両制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両制御装置は、車両１０が走行中の車線を検出する車線検出部３１と、検出された車線に沿って車両１０が走行する予定の経路を設定する経路設定部３２と、車両１０が走行中の車線を区画する車線区画線及び車両１０の周囲に存在する障害物を検出する検出部３３と、その予定の経路のうち、検出された車線区画線と一致する有効区間を特定する有効区間特定部３４と、障害物の位置が有効区間内に含まれ、かつ、障害物がその予定の経路上に位置する場合に、障害物と車両１０との衝突を避けるように車両１０の挙動を制御する制御部３６とを有する。【選択図】図３
