Summary:To apply a restraining force to a stack of a plurality of battery cells with a simple configuration against expansion and contraction of the battery cells.SOLUTION: A battery pack device has a fluid movable structure arranged such that one end contacts one of a pair of end plates, and expands and contracts in the stacking direction of a plurality of battery cells according to the inflow and outflow of working fluid. A fixing member immovably holds the other end plate of the pair of end plates and immovably holds the other end of the fluid movable structure. The battery pack device further has a pressure applying structure that communicates a fluid chamber formed by one end of a cylinder and a piston with the fluid movable structure by a communicating member, and applies pressure by applying biasing force to the other end of the piston by an elastic member so as to generate pressure in the fluid chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】電池セルの膨張や収縮に対して簡易な構成で複数の電池セルの積層体に拘束力を付与する。【解決手段】組電池装置は、一端が一対のエンドプレートのうちの一方のエンドプレートに接触するように配置され、作動流体の流入および流出により複数の電池セルの積層方向に伸縮する流体式可動構造を備える。固定部材により、一対のエンドプレートのうちの他方のエンドプレートを不動に保持すると共に流体式可動構造の他端を不動に保持する。そして、シリンダとピストンの一端とにより形成される流体室と流体式可動構造とを連通部材により連通し、流体室に圧力が生じるようにピストンの他端に弾性部材により付勢力を付与する圧力付与構造を備える。【選択図】図1
