Summary:To appropriately predict an environment temperature tailored to a factory environment in which a machine tool is placed from data on an airframe and/or an ambient temperature of the machine tool which can easily acquire data and an outside-factory temperature.SOLUTION: An environment temperature change prediction device 7 comprises: an environment temperature acquisition unit 8 which measures an environment temperature with temperature sensors 5, 6; an outside air temperature acquisition unit 9 which acquires an outside air temperature with a temperature sensor 4; a factory environment pattern setting unit 10 which pre-defines classification rules for classifying a change tendency of the environment temperature into a plurality of patterns and an environment temperature prediction model which differs for each as a factory environment pattern on the basis of data on the environment temperature and an outside-factory temperature; a prediction model generation unit 11 which selects an applicable factory environment pattern from the classification rules on the basis of data on the past environment temperature and/or the past outside-factory temperature data and determines parameters of the corresponding environment temperature prediction model; and an environment temperature change prediction unit 13 which predicts a change in a future environment temperature from the generated environment temperature prediction model.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】容易にデータを取得できる工作機械の機体及び/又は周囲気温と工場外気温とのデータから、工作機械が置かれた工場環境に合わせて適切に環境温度を予測する。【解決手段】環境温度変化予測装置7は、環境温度を温度センサ5,6により測定する環境温度取得部8と、外気温を温度センサ4により取得する外気温取得部9と、環境温度と工場外気温とのデータに基づいて環境温度の変化傾向を複数のパターンに分類する分類規則と当該パターンごとに異なる環境温度予測モデルとを工場環境パターンとして予め定義しておく工場環境パターン設定部10と、過去の環境温度及び/又は工場外気温のデータに基づいて分類規則から当てはまる工場環境パターンを選択し、対応する環境温度予測モデルのパラメータを決定する予測モデル生成部11と、生成された環境温度予測モデルにより、将来の環境温度の変化を予測する環境温度変化予測部13とを備える。【選択図】図1
