Summary: | To manufacture a vehicular wheel having such high designability that a part where a cut surface and a surface of a base material cross each other is visually emphasized.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a vehicular wheel includes a wheel rim having a substantially cylindrical shape, and a wheel disk provided on an inner peripheral side of the wheel rim. The method includes: a molding step of molding a base material of a light metal-made wheel by a casting method or forging method; a cutting step of cutting the partial base material, and forming a cut surface; a coating step of coating the cut surface, an edge part where the cut surface and the surface of the base material cross each other, and the periphery of at least the edge part on the surface of the base material with a color coating material; and a chamfering step of chamfering the edge part, and forming a bright surface to which the base material is exposed, after the coating step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
