To provide a method capable of easily finishing a design provided on an outer surface as intended and easily.SOLUTION: A method has a process in which, after molding processing including drawing processing or ironing processing is performed on a metal plate having a colored resin coating tinged with color, and a cylindrical trunk part is formed, design is printed on an outer surface of the trunk part. Design printing is performed a plurality of times by changing colors at a predetermined place on the outer surface of the trunk part, a mixed color sample of the color used in the design printing and a ground color at the predetermined place is acquired, and a tone table which is a hue group whose brightness and color saturation in the predetermined place are the same is created. Based on the tone table, a color scheme of the design is determined, and the design is printed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】外表面に設けるデザインを意図どおりに、かつ容易に仕上げることのできる方法を提供する。【解決手段】彩色を帯びた着色樹脂被覆を有する金属板に、絞り加工もしくはしごき加工を含む成形加工を施して、筒状の胴部を形成した後に、胴部の外表面にデザインを印刷する工程を有する方法であって、胴部の外表面の所定箇所に、色を変えて複数回のデザイン印刷を行って、デザイン印刷で使用した色と所定箇所の下地色との混色サンプルを得て、所定箇所における明度と彩度とが同じ色相グループであるトーン表を作成し、トーン表に基づいて前記デザインの配色を決定し、デザインを印刷する。【選択図】図４
