Summary:To provide an image forming apparatus that can regulate the movement of an operating member with an actuator.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus has: an attachment part that includes an operating member for externally operating opening and closing of a container shutter with a toner container being attached to the attachment part, the operating member configured to be movable with the container shutter; a toner storage unit configured to store toner received from a receiving port; an actuator for regulating the movement of the operating member; and a control unit that controls the actuator.
