Summary:To provide a vehicle body rear part structure capable of sufficiently supporting stress acting in a vehicle width direction and a vehicle fore and aft direction and applied to a trailing arm when a vehicle turns rapidly or in a similar situation.SOLUTION: A vehicle body rear part includes: a side sill 1; a rear side frame 3; a cross member; a trailing arm; and an arm attachment bracket 14; and a closing plate 10. A front end part of the trailing arm is swingably supported through a mount member 9 by a front area 3F of the rear side frame 3. The arm attachment bracket 14 is fixed to an interior of a cross section of the rear side frame 3 and has a fixing nut 20 to which the mount member 9 is fastened. A bracket reinforcement member 22 reinforces the arm attachment bracket 14. The closing plate 10 closes an upper opening of the front area 3F of the rear side frame 3. In the bracket reinforcement member 22, both ends as seen in a vehicle width direction are coupled to the side sill 1 and the cross member and an upper part is coupled to the closing plate 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】車両の急激な旋回時等にトレーリングアームに加わる車幅方向と車両前後方向の応力を充分に支持することができる車体後部構造を提供する。【解決手段】車体後部は、サイドシル1、リヤサイドフレーム3、クロスメンバ、トレーリングアーム、アーム取付ブラケット14、閉塞プレート10を備えている。トレーリングアームは前端部がリヤサイドフレーム3の前部領域3Fにマウント部材9を介して揺動可能に支持される。アーム取付ブラケット14はリヤサイドフレーム3の断面内に固定され、マウント部材9が締結固定される固定ナット20を有する。ブラケット補強部材22はアーム取付ブラケット14を補強する。閉塞プレート10はリヤサイドフレーム3の前部領域3Fの上方側の開口を閉塞する。ブラケット補強部材22は車幅方向の両側の端部がサイドシル1とクロスメンバに結合されるとともに、上部が閉塞プレート10に結合されている。【選択図】図6
