Summary:To provide a culture apparatus capable of suppressing an increase in energy consumption and cultivating microalgae with a simple structure while satisfactorily dispersing them.SOLUTION: A culture apparatus 10 comprises a housing section 12 that contains a culture medium. An agitator 18, a solid with a greater density than the culture medium, is added to the culture medium. A guide section 20 and a circulation section 22 are provided inside the housing section 12. A gas supply port 26 is provided at a bottom 16 of the housing section 12 to allow gas to be supplied to the guide section 20 from the bottom to the top in the direction of gravity. A return section 28 is provided between the gas supply port 26 and the guide section 20 and has a plurality of holes 44 of a size that allows the culture medium and microalgae M to pass through and also allows the agitator 18 to collide with a periphery 45 of the holes 44.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】エネルギ消費量が増大することを抑制しつつ、簡単な構成で微細藻を良好に分散させて培養する。【解決手段】培養装置10は、培養液を収容する収容部12を備える。培養液中には、培養液よりも密度が大きい固体である撹拌物18が加えられる。収容部12の内部にはガイド部20及び循環部22が設けられる。収容部12の底部16には、ガイド部20に重力方向の下側から上側に向かってガスを供給可能とするガス供給口26が設けられる。ガス供給口26とガイド部20との間には、培養液及び微細藻Mを通過させることが可能な大きさの複数の孔44を有し且つ孔44の周縁部45に撹拌物18が衝突可能である返し部28が設けられる。【選択図】図3
