To provide a coil component having a structure which can easily achieve a desired positional relationship between a cover member and a bobbin part.SOLUTION: A coil component 100 comprises a bobbin part 30, a magnetic core 10, a coil 70, and a cover member 80. At least one of the cover member 80 and the bobbin part 30 has a spring piece 83 for elastically biasing the other. With biasing force of the spring piece 83, at least one of the cover member 80 and the bobbin part 30 elastically biases the other. At least the other one of the cover member 80 and the bobbin part 30 has a protruding part 46 and a recessed part 47. A tip end part 83c of the spring piece 83 has: a contact part 84a which biases the protruding part 46; and an entry part 84b which enters the recessed part 47.
