Summary:To realize a vehicle drive device which comprises an input shaft, a rotating electric machine, an output differential gear mechanism and a transmission and can be easily mounted on a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle drive device 100 comprises: an input shaft I which is arranged coaxially with an internal combustion engine output shaft ES, an output shaft of an internal combustion engine EG and is connected to the internal combustion engine output shaft ES so as to transfer drive force; a rotating electric machine MG1; an output side differential gear mechanism DF1 which distributes rotation to be input to a pair of wheels W1; and a transmission TM which transmits rotation transmitted from the input shaft I and the rotating electric machine MG1 to the output side differential gear mechanism DF1 by changing a rotation speed with a selected gear ratio. The input shaft I is arranged on a first axis X1. The transmission TM is arranged on a second axis X2 which is different from the first axis X1.
