Summary:To provide a vehicular main electric motor 1 including a cooling fan 8 that is fixed to one axial side of a rotary shaft 4 in a sealed inner space 21 in an electric motor case 2, wherein multiple air holes 9 extending in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 4 are formed, at an interval in the circumferential direction, in a first rotor presser 5a, a rotor 6, and a second rotor presser 5b, such that the efficiency of cooing the rotor 6 and a stator 7 by using air circulation in the inner space 21 in the electric motor case 2 can be improved when the cooling fan 8 is rotating.SOLUTION: In a portion of the inner circumferential surface of a rotor 6, multiple recessed grooves 62 extending in the axial direction of a rotary shaft 4 are formed at an interval in the circumferential direction. In a first rotor presser 5a, multiple discharge ports 5a1 respectively connecting the recessed grooves 62 to an inner space 21 in an electric motor case 2 are drilled at an interval in the circumferential direction. Further, in a second rotor presser 5b, suction ports 5b1 respectively connecting the recessed grooves 62 to the inner space 21 in the electric motor case 2 are drilled at an interval in the circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】電動機ケース2の密閉された内部空間21内で回転軸4の軸方向一方側に固定される冷却ファン8を備え、第1回転子押え5a、回転子6及び第2回転子押え5bに、回転軸4の軸方向に貫通する複数の風穴9が周方向の間隔を存して形成される車両用主電動機1において、冷却ファン8が回転する際の、電動機ケース2の内部空間21内での空気循環による回転子6及び固定子7の冷却効率を向上させる。【解決手段】回転子6の内周面の部分に、回転軸4の軸方向に延びる複数の凹溝62が周方向の間隔を存して形成され、第1回転子押え5aに、各凹溝62と電動機ケース2の内部空間21を連通させる複数の排気孔5a1が周方向の間隔を存して開設されると共に、第2回転子押え5bに、各凹溝62と電動機ケース2の内部空間21を連通させる吸気孔5b1が周方向の間隔を存して開設される。【選択図】図1
