To provide a cape support tool and a cape support structure, which support a cape for hairdressing or meal assistance, and can sufficiently suppress splashing of hot water when washing hair and spattering of spilled food into surroundings when assisting with meals.SOLUTION: In an inspection mechanism A which is an example of a cape support tool to which the present invention is applied, the cape support tool A is composed of a core material 1 being a member forming the entire cape support tool A, and a cover member 2 for covering an outer peripheral face of the core material 1.
