To provide a power storage device, having an outer package, which has improved reliability enabled by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A power storage device 1 comprises an outer package 10 which houses a power storage element 20. The outer package 10 comprises: a lid 11; and a cover member 130 which is fitted on the lid 11 so as to close an upper surface opening 11a provided on the lid 11. The lid 11 has a first wall 141 which is erected along a fitting direction for fitting the cover member 130 onto the lid 11. The cover member 130 has a second wall 131 which is erected along the fitting direction, and the second wall 131 faces the first wall 141.
