Summary:To coaxially and simultaneously capture an image of a face and a high-quality image of the eyes of the same subject.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a lens on which light from a subject is incident; a spectroscopic section that disperses the light received through the lens into first light having a first wavelength band and second light having a second wavelength band higher than the first wavelength band; a first imaging section that captures an image of a first portion of the subject on the basis of the first light; a second imaging section that captures an image of a second portion narrower than the first portion of the subject on the basis of the second light; and an output section that outputs the captured image of the first portion and the captured image of the second portion to an external device.
