To provide a fence having columns easy to construct and hardly causing looseness after construction, when mounting a second column on a first column erected on a setting face.SOLUTION: A fence has a column having a first column 30 and a second column 40, and a panel material mounted between the columns. The first column 30 is a pipe body and the second column 40 has a locking part 50 inserted into the first column 30, and the locking part 50 has a pair of vertically formed facing parts 51 and spacers 53 penetrating through the pair of the facing parts 51, 51.
