Summary:To suppress a delay in the response of motor torque output when a vehicle shifts to evacuation traveling, while inhibiting damage to a clutch mechanism.SOLUTION: A vehicle controller is used for a vehicle including: an engine; a motor; a clutch mechanism which is provided in a drive transmission path between the engine and the motor, and which switches between an engagement state and a release state, thereby being capable of switching the drive transmission path between a connection state and a disconnection state; and at least two control systems for controlling the action of the clutch mechanism.
