To determine whether an object in a curve mirror is approaching a vehicle or not, from an image captured from the running vehicle.SOLUTION: A determination apparatus includes an extraction unit, a detection unit, and a determination unit. The extraction unit extracts an optical flow of an object in a curve mirror in an image captured from a running vehicle. The detection unit detects a direction of the curve mirror from the image.
