Summary:To provide a determination apparatus which accurately determines a direction of a curve mirror in an image, and a determination method.SOLUTION: A determination apparatus includes an analysis unit and a determination unit. The analysis unit analyzes an image of a curve mirror captured from a vehicle. The determination unit determines a direction of the curve mirror on the basis of information obtained by analysis of the analysis unit. For example, the determination unit determines a direction of the curve mirror on the basis of a relationship between a center position of a mirror surface of the curve mirror and a position of a pillar of the curve mirror.
