Summary:To reduce an amount of emission of a volatile component while preventing occurrence of an offset image in a fixing device.SOLUTION: A fixing device 47 comprises: a fixing member 471; a pressure member 475; an electrifying unit 477; and a control unit 8d. The fixing member 471 is heated and rotates. The pressure member 475 forms a nip part for sandwiching a sheet on which a toner image is formed between a surface of the fixing member 471 and the pressure member, and rotates with the fixing member 481 to convey the sheet. The electrifying unit 477 causes an electrification current to flow to a pair of electrodes 477a, 477b arranged opposite to the surface of the fixing member 471 to electrify the surface of the fixing member 471 to a same polarity as an electrification polarity of the toner.
