To provide a conveyance system capable of suppressing the occurrence of vain movement time due to the absence of an article even after the article is transferred between itself and supporting means.SOLUTION: A conveyance system has a first conveyance path and a second conveyance path. The first conveyance path comprises first support means capable of moving along the first conveyance path. The second conveyance path comprises second support means and third support means capable of moving on the second conveyance path. The first support means, the second support means, and the third support means can travel synchronously in a section in which the first conveyance path and the second conveyance path face each other in parallel.
