Summary: | To detect an object to be detected in a cost-effective manner.SOLUTION: A detection device of an embodiment includes an aggregation path and a sensor unit. The aggregation path includes an opening provided in a lower portion and has a funnel shape guiding an object to be detected input from an upper portion. The sensor unit has at least two detection axes crossing each other arranged along a detection surface obtained by round-slicing a cylinder portion connected to the opening, and detects the object to be detected with the detection axes when the object to be detected passes through the detection surface. A length in a height direction from the upper portion of the aggregation path to the detection surface is a length capable of reducing a falling speed of the object to be detected on the detection surface, such that a time for shielding the detection axes is longer than a response time required for detection at the detection axes when the object to be detected freely falls from an input position of the upper portion and passes through the detection surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】より安価に検出対象物を検出する。【解決手段】実施形態の検出装置は、集約路と、センサ部とを備える。集約路は、下部に開口部が設けられ、上部より投入された検出対象物を開口部に導く漏斗状である。センサ部は、開口部と接続する筒部において筒部を輪切る検出面に沿って配置された、少なくとも2つの互いに交差する検出軸を有し、検出面を検出対象物が通過する際に検出軸で検出対象物を検出する。集約路の上部から検出面に至る高さ方向の長さは、検出対象物が上部の投入位置より自由落下して検出面を通過する場合に検出軸を遮蔽する時間の方が検出軸での検出に要する応答時間よりも長くなるように、検出面における検出対象物の落下速度が抑えられる長さである。【選択図】図1 |
