Summary:To improve accuracy of insulation deterioration diagnosis of a rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: An insulation deterioration diagnosis method for a rotary electric machine includes an acquisition step and a diagnostic step. The acquisition step acquires ozone concentration, temperature, humidity, and wind speed of an air flow in a housing of the rotary electric machine which comprises the housing, a stator stored in the housing, a rotator stored in the housing and rotating with respect to the stator, an insulator stored in the housing, and a fan generating an air flow in the housing.
