To provide a synthetic resin container provided with a coating layer laminated peelably on an outer peripheral surface side of a container body, which can easily separate the container body and the coating layer, in particular, prevent fragments on an end side of the coating layer from being peeled off and remaining on the container body.SOLUTION: A container 1 includes: a container body 1a which is formed in a predetermined container shape including a mouth part 2, a body 3, and a bottom 4; and a coating layer 5 which is laminated peelably on an outer peripheral surface side of the container body 1a and whose end side covers a lower end side of the mouth part 2.
