Summary:To provide a decoder for multi-dimensional LDPC codes which has a high decoding performance.SOLUTION: A radio communication device comprises a communication unit for receiving a signal which is encoded by a multi-dimensional low density parity check code, and a control unit for decoding the signal which is received by the communication unit. The control unit decodes the signal by executing a decoding method including: a first step of multiplying a value of reliability of a symbol by a value of weight and outputting the value from a plurality of check nodes included in a Tanner graph to a plurality of variable nodes connected with the check nodes by edges; a second step of outputting an external value which is determined on the basis of the value of the reliability, from the variable nodes to the check nodes after the first step; a third step of determining an output value of the Tanner graph on the basis of the reliability of the symbol; and a fourth step of determining the output value of the Tanner graph is a codeword or not.
