To provide a movable body capable of maintaining an advance direction of the movable body even when a failure related to execution of steering control of the movable body occurs.SOLUTION: An automobile 10 comprises: a steering unit; and an EPS-ECU 36 for controlling the steering unit for controlling steering of the automobile 10. The EPS-ECU 36 executes selectively, first steering control for controlling steering of the automobile 10 on the basis of a movement situation of the automobile 10, and second steering control for restricting steering of the automobile 10.
