Summary: | To obtain a good operation feeling without reducing response performance of a drive motor.SOLUTION: A motor control device (30) controls a drive motor (21) that outputs driving force to a wheel. The motor control device includes: an accelerator operation unit (31) that accepts an accelerator operation; a change operation unit (42) that accepts a change operation for the driving force of the drive motor; a rotational speed sensor (47) that detects a motor rotational speed of the drive motor; a calculation circuit (51) that calculates an instruction value, based on an amount of accelerator operation, the motor rotational speed, and an amount of change operation; and a control circuit (71) that controls the driving force of the drive motor in accordance with the instruction value from the calculation circuit. The calculation circuit forms a virtual clutch for changing a power transmission ratio between the drive motor and a wheel in accordance with the amount of change operation and calculates an instruction value corresponding to a coasting travel matching the motor rotational speed when the virtual clutch is shut off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
