Summary:To provide a metal particle-containing composition which produces high joining strength at a joined position and of which the lowering of the joining strength due to cooling and heating cycles is suppressed, to provide a paste for joining which, in addition to the above mentioned characteristics, has excellent printability on a body to be joined even when the metal particles are contained with high concentration, and further to provide a joined body which is not degraded by the cooling and heating cycles.SOLUTION: A metal particle-containing composition comprises: metal particles (A) with an average particle diameter of 180-1,000 nm; and a 20-80C compound (B) with two or more functional groups (b) being any one selected from a hydroxy group, a carboxy group, and an amino group. A paste for joining comprises a dispersion medium (C) and the metal particle-containing composition. A joined body is formed of a first part to be joined and a second part to be joined which are joined to each other with the paste for joining.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】接合された箇所の接合強度が高く、冷熱サイクルに伴う接合強度の低下が抑制された金属粒子含有組成物を提供すること。また、上記特性に加えて、高濃度に金属粒子を含有していても被接合体部への印刷適性に優れる接合用ペーストを提供すること。さらに、冷熱サイクルによって劣化しない接合体を提供すること。【解決手段】平均粒子径が180nm~1000nmである金属粒子(A)と、水酸基、カルボキシ基およびアミノ基から選ばれるいずれか一種である官能基(b)を2つ以上有する炭素数20~80の化合物(B)とを含有してなる金属粒子含有組成物。分散媒(C)と、上記金属粒子含有組成物とを含有する接合用ペースト。上記接合用ペーストによって、第一の被接合部と第二の被接合部とが接合された接合体。【選択図】なし
