Summary:To provide a technology for obtaining a float glass which has a large plane view size with reduced warping.SOLUTION: A float glass production device includes; a bath, a plurality of top rolls, a ceiling, a plurality of heaters, and a plurality of controllers. The bath has a narrow part, a middle part, and a wide part from a lower stream edge to an upper stream side in this order. The narrow part has a deep bottom part, a shallow bottom part, and a pocket part from the low stream edge to the upper stream side in this order. In each division formed by dividing the ceiling into a flowing direction and a width direction of a glass ribbon, there are provided the plurality of heaters collectively controlled by one of the controllers selected for each division.
