To provide a coating film remover and a coating film removing method capable of stably peeling a coating film and especially capable of securely peeling a coating film irrespective of a portion of a structure in which a coating film is provided.SOLUTION: There is provided a paste-like coating film remover containing a coating film removing liquid and fibrous particles. The coating film remover is suitably used for peeling a coating film provided on the surface of a steel structural material. The paste-like coating film remover maintains a peeling component contained in the coating film removing liquid and penetrates in the coating film and thus can stably peel the coating film without depending on the surrounding environment of the coating film. In addition, the paste-like coating film remover is embedded in a narrow part of a structure and the peeling component is sufficiently penetrated and thus a coating film can be securely peeled.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】 安定して塗膜を剥離することが可能で、特には、塗膜が設けられている構造物の部位によらず確実に塗膜を剥離することが可能な塗膜剥離剤および塗膜剥離方法を提供する。【解決手段】 本発明は、塗膜剥離液と、繊維状粒子と、を含むペースト状の塗膜剥離剤である。本発明の塗膜剥離剤は、鋼構造物の表面に設けられた塗膜を剥離するめに好適に用いられる。ペースト状の塗膜剥離剤とすることで、塗膜剥離液に含まれる剥離成分が保持され、塗膜に浸透するので、塗膜の周囲環境に左右されず、安定して塗膜を剥離することが可能となる。また、構造物の狭あい部分にペースト状の塗膜剥離剤を埋め込むことで、剥離成分を十分に浸透させて確実に塗膜を剥離することが可能となる。【選択図】 なし
