To provide a banknote processor that can easily improve conveyance conditions and control the decline in processing efficiency.SOLUTION: A banknote processor includes: a drum-type temporary storage unit that can store banknotes S wrapped around a rotating drum while holding them between tapes one by one, and can also eject them one at a time; and a drum-type reflux compartment that can store the banknotes S wrapped around the rotating drum while holding them between tapes one by one, and can also eject them one at a time.
