Summary:To provide a carrier capable of suppressing abrasion powder from sticking in carrying an electronic component.SOLUTION: A carrier 10 that is provided with a plurality of cavities 11 penetrating from a first principal surface 10a to a second principal surface, and accommodating electronic components 40, and driven in parallel with a carrying surface 20a opposed to the second principal surface to carry the electronic components 40 accommodated in the cavities 11 comprises: a slide part which comes into contact with the carrying surface 20a, and slides on the carrying surface 20a when the carrier 10 is driven; and a passage groove part 14 which is separated from the carrying surface 20a, and does not slide on the carrying surface 20a when the carrier 10 is driven.
