Summary:To provide an intervertebral spacer having sufficient strength against force applied from the longitudinal direction and a lateral direction, besides compressive force from the upward.SOLUTION: The intervertebral spacer includes first and second ends 2 and 3, and a skeleton structure 4 formed integrally with the first and second ends, the skeleton structure itself formed integrally, and connecting the first and second ends. The skeleton structure includes at least, four first connecting members 5a-5d for connecting four mutually-facing corners of the first and second ends, and a set of second connecting members 6 for cross-connecting the four mutually-facing corners of the first and second ends to each other in a space delimited by the first connecting members. The pair of upper-side first connecting members 5a and 5b includes a plurality of upward projections 8a at intervals apart in the longitudinal direction of the first connecting members, while the pair of lower-side first connecting members 5c and 5d includes a plurality of downward projections 8b at intervals apart in the longitudinal direction of the first connecting members.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】上方からの圧縮力だけでなく、前後方向や横方向に及ぼされる力に対しても十分な強度を有する椎間スペーサーを提供する。【解決手段】第1及び第2の端部2、3と、第1及び第2の端部と一体的にかつそれ自体が一体的に形成され、第1及び第2の端部を連結する骨組み構造4を備える。骨組み構造は、少なくとも、第1及び第2の端部の互いに対向する四隅同士を連結する4本の第1の連結部材5a~5dと、第1の連結部材によって画定された空間内において、第1および第2の端部の互いに対向する四隅同士を交差状に連結する1組の第2の連結部材6を有する。上側の一対の第1の連結部材5a、5bに、複数の上向きの突起8aが第1の連結部材の長さ方向に間隔をあけて設けられ、下側の一対の第1の連結部材5c、5dには、複数の下向きの突起8bが第1の連結部材の長さ方向に間隔をあけて設けられる。【選択図】図1
