To provide an amount-of-carbon dioxide emission estimation system and amount-of-carbon dioxide emission estimation method that allow for easily calculating a gross amount of carbon dioxide of a building with high accuracy in spite of a method of stacking an amount of carbon dioxide of a construction material to calculate the amount thereof.SOLUTION: In an amount-of-carbon dioxide estimation system 1 relating to a construction material to be used in a building, a computation processing unit 3 comprises: a cover rate setting unit 31 that sets a cover rate from an estimated use weight dominant in a gross weight of a building as to a direct calculation item selected as the item intended for directly calculating an amount of carbon dioxide; a direct amount-of-carbon dioxide calculation unit 32 that calculates an amount of carbon dioxide of the direct calculation item; an integration processing unit 33 that integrates the amount of carbon dioxide of the direct calculation item and the cover rate thereof to calculate a total amount and total cover rate; and a gross amount calculation unit 35 that corrects the total amount thereof on the basis of a ratio of the construction material not included in the total cover rate, and thereby calculates a gross amount of the construction material to be used in the building.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】建設資材の二酸化炭素排出量を積み上げて算定する方法でありながら、容易に建物の総二酸化炭素排出量を精度よく算出することが可能な二酸化炭素の排出量推定システム及び二酸化炭素の排出量推定方法を提供する。【解決手段】建物に用いられる建設資材に関する二酸化炭素の排出量推定システム１であって、演算処理部３は、二酸化炭素の排出量を直接算出する品目として選定された直接算定品目について、建物の総重量に占める推定使用重量からカバー率を設定するカバー率設定部３１と、直接算定品目の二酸化炭素排出量を算出する直接排出量算出部３２と、直接算定品目の二酸化炭素排出量及びカバー率を積算して合計排出量及び合計カバー率を算出する積算処理部３３と、合計カバー率に含まれない建設資材の割合に基づいて合計排出量を補正することで、建物に用いられる建設資材の総二酸化炭素排出量を算出する総排出量算出部３５と、を備えている。【選択図】図１
