Summary: | To provide an ink jet recording head and an ink jet recording device with the ink jet recording head that can suppress suspended dust such as paper powder from sticking by making a discharge port surface water-repellent except a discharge port circumference to suppress wet spreading of ink while securing discharge stability with high affinity of the discharge port circumference with the ink.SOLUTION: An ink jet recording head has a discharge port surface 22S formed by joining an electro-thermal transducer 65 capable of discharging ink through heat generation, a heat generation element substrate 111 having an ink flow passage 64 formed of a flow passage formation material 63 on a substrate 111 having a wiring part for connection with a drive circuit of the electro-thermal transducer 65, and a top plate 113 having an ink liquid chamber formed, wherein the heat generation element substrate 111 on the discharge port surface 22S and the top plate part 113 are made water-repellent, and a flow passage formation material part 63 on the discharge port surface 22S is made hydrophilic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】吐出口周囲のインクに対する親和性は高く吐出安定性を確保しつつ、吐出口面の吐出口周囲以外を撥水化してインクの濡れ広がりを抑え紙粉などの浮遊ゴミの付着を抑制できるインクジェット記録ヘッドおよび該インクジェット記録ヘッドを備えるインクジェット記録装置を提供する。【解決手段】発熱によりインクを吐出可能な電気熱変換素子65と、電気熱変換素子65の駆動回路に接続するための配線部を有する基板111上に、流路形成材63によってインク流路64が形成された発熱素子基板111とインク液室が形成された天板113とを接合して吐出口面22Sを形成するインクジェット記録ヘッドであって、吐出口面22Sの発熱素子基板部分111および天板部分113が撥水処理されており、吐出口面22Sの流路形成材部分63が親水化処理されていることを特徴とするインクジェット記録ヘッド。【選択図】図3 |
