Summary:To provide a rotary cutting tool which can enhance workability and avoids damaging a neighboring object to be ground even if the object to be ground is close.SOLUTION: A rotary cutting tool 1 has: a flange-type base metal 10 which forms a perfect circle in top view and has a screw hole 111a threaded in parallel with an axis in a central part interior wall; and multiple grinding blades 15a-15f protruding on the side of an object to be ground from a flange face 11a of the base metal 10. The multiple grinding blades 15a-15f form a three-dimensional chip area 15 on the flange face 11a when the base metal 10 rotates about the axis. The outer diameter of the flange face 11a is greater than the outer diameter of the chip area 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】研削対象物が近接している場合であっても隣り合う研削対象物を傷つけることがなく、かつ、作業性を向上させることができる回転刃具を提供する。【解決手段】回転刃具1は、中央部内壁に軸心と平行にネジ孔111aが螺刻され、上面視で真円をなすフランジ型の台金10と、台金10のフランジ面11aから被研削物側に立設される複数の研削刃15a~15fとを有する。複数の研削刃15a~15fは、台金10が軸心を中心に回転するときフランジ面11aに3次元のチップ領域15を形成する。また、フランジ面11aの外径は、チップ領域15の外径よりも大きい。【選択図】図1
