Weight holding means 130 includes first and second rotation supporting portions 131 and 132, and an arm member 133 pivoted thereon, and holds the weight 120 on the ball screw shaft 111 in a manner that a radius of the circular orbit motion of the weight is continuously changeable. The cylindrical first rotation supporting portion 131 is rotated integrally with the ball screw shaft 111, and the second rotation supporting portion 132 is disposed inside of the first rotation supporting portion 131 in a manner of not relatively rotatable and relatively movable along an axis. By relatively moving the second rotation supporting portion 132 in the axial direction with respect to the first rotation supporting portion 131 by driving means 150, the arm member 133 is raised and fallen, and the radius of the circular orbit motion of the weight 120 is changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】慣性質量を広い範囲で連続的に変更できる可変慣性質量ダンパーで、小型化可能なものを提供する。【解決手段】可変慣性質量ダンパー100は、ボールねじ軸111で円軌道運動する重錘120を含む回転質量部140を具備する。重錘保持手段130は、第1、第2の回転支持部131,132と、それらに枢支されるアーム部材133とを具備し、重錘120を、それの円軌道運動の半径を連続的に変更可能にボールねじ軸111に保持する。筒状の第1の回転支持部131は、ボールねじ軸111と一体回転し、第2の回転支持部132は、第1の回転支持部131の内側に相対回転不能かつそれの軸線に沿って相対移動可能である。駆動手段150で第2の回転支持部132を第1の回転支持部131に対して軸線方向に相対移動させることで、アーム部材133を起伏させ、重錘120の円軌道運動の半径を変更する。【選択図】図1
