Summary:To provide a rotation tool which is advantageous for cutting of a square corner part.SOLUTION: A rotary tool 101 is rotated around an axis to be used and has: a shank 105; and a cutting part 109 located at the tip side of the shank 105. The cutting part 109 has an outer peripheral surface 111 exposed to the outside of the tool 101 over an entire periphery of the tool 101 around its axis. The outer peripheral surface 111 has a first cutting edge 117A having a length in an axial direction of the tool 101.
