Summary:To improving the power transmission efficiency from a power transmission device by suppressing occurrence of magnetic saturation in the power receiving device in water even when the outer circumference of the housing is surrounded by a magnetic material.SOLUTION: The power receiving device is capable of moving underwater and has a housing whose outer circumference is surrounded by a magnetic material. The power receiving device has a power receiving unit that receives the power transmitted wirelessly from a power transmission device and a storage battery. The power receiving device includes: a power supply unit for charging the storage battery based on the power received by the power receiving unit; a power detection unit that repeatedly detects the power value of the power supply unit that is in operation; and a power receiving processor that determines the control current value for operating the power supply unit based on a comparison result between the power value detected by the power detection unit and the power value that is previously detected by the power detection unit, and controls the operation of the power supply unit based on the determined control current value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】筐体の外周を磁性体で包囲した場合でも、水中において受電装置における磁気飽和の発生を抑制し、送電装置からの電力の伝送効率を向上する。【解決手段】受電装置は、水中を移動可能であり、外周が磁性体で包囲された筐体を有する。受電装置は、送電装置からワイヤレスで伝送された電力を受電する受電部と、蓄電池を有し、受電部で受電された電力に基づいて蓄電池を充電する電源部と、電源部の動作中の電力値を繰り返して検出する電力検出部と、電力検出部により検出された電力値と、前回に電力検出部により検出された電力値との比較結果に基づいて、電源部を作動させる制御電流値を決定し、決定された制御電流値に基づく電源部の作動を制御する受電側プロセッサと、を備える。【選択図】図8
