To provide an inhalation assistance device which allow a patient to easily adjust the timing of medicine inhalation without depending on a valve structure.SOLUTION: An inhalation assistance device 100 attached to the air outlet of a spray type inhalator of a medicine comprises: a tubular body 10; an introduction port 20 provided on one end side of the body 10 to introduce into the body 10 the medicine sprayed from the air outlet of the inhalator; a wall surface part 30 provided at a position that is on the other end side of the body 10 and opposite the introduction port 20; and an inhalation port 40 provided on a lateral face of the body 10 to inhale the medicine introduced into the body 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】弁構造に依らなくても、患者が薬剤吸入のタイミングを任意に調整しやすい吸入補助器を提供する。【解決手段】薬剤の噴霧式吸入器の吹出口に装着される吸入補助器１００は、筒状の本体部１０と、本体部１０の一端側に設けられ吸入器の吹出口から噴霧された薬剤を本体部１０内に導入するための導入口２０と、本体部１０の他端側であって導入口２０と対向する位置に設けられた壁面部３０と、本体部１０の側面に設けられ本体部１０内に導入された薬剤を吸入するための吸入口４０を備える。【選択図】図１
