Summary:To provide a resistance spot welding method which can certainly suppress generation of spatter during resistance spot welding.SOLUTION: In the state of "external dimension of an alloy layer/external dimension of a weld nugget≥1.2" after going through a growth process of a prescribed weld nugget in initial electrical conduction of resistance spot welding, the initial electrical conduction is shifted to a main electrical conduction, and the main electrical conduction is performed so that establishment of the afore-said formula continues. Although spatter is remarkably generated when a ratio of the external dimension of the alloy layer to the external dimension of the weld nugget becomes lower than 1.2, the initial electrical conduction is shifted to the main electrical conduction in the state where the afore-said formula is established, and a current value of the main electrical conduction is adjusted so as to continue establishment of the afore-said formula, whereby generation of spatter can be certainly suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】抵抗スポット溶接時におけるスパッタの発生を確実に抑制できる抵抗スポット溶接方法を提供する。
