Summary:To provide a technique to prevent an increase in size of a sheet cutting device.SOLUTION: A sheet cutting device comprises cutting means that has a plurality of cutting blades for cutting a sheet along a conveyance direction, the plurality of cutting blades being movable to a cutting position for cutting the sheet and a retracted position not for cutting the sheet. The plurality of cutting blades are provided at different positions in a width direction orthogonal to both the conveyance direction and an orthogonal direction orthogonal to a surface of the sheet. At least one first cutting blade of the plurality of cutting blades can change the position in the orthogonal direction. A second cutting blade of the plurality of cutting blades can change the position in the width direction from the inside to the outside of a range in the width direction through which the sheet passes. Control means changes the position in the orthogonal direction of the first cutting blade to set the first cutting blade to the cutting position or the retracted position, and changes the position in the width direction of the second cutting blade to set the second cutting blade to the cutting position or the retracted position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】シート断裁装置が大型化することを防ぐ技術を提供する。【解決手段】シート断裁装置は、シートを搬送方向に沿って断裁するための複数の断裁刃であって、シートを断裁する断裁位置と、シートを断裁しない退避位置とに移動可能な複数の断裁刃を有する断裁手段を備え、複数の断裁刃は、搬送方向及びシートの面に直交する直交方向の両方に直交する幅方向において異なる位置に設けられ、複数の断裁刃の内の少なくとも１つの第１断裁刃は、直交方向における位置を変更可能な様に構成され、複数の断裁刃の内の第２断裁刃は、シートが通過する幅方向の範囲の内側から外側まで幅方向の位置を変更可能な様に構成され、制御手段は、第１断裁刃の直交方向における位置を変更することで第１断裁刃を断裁位置又は退避位置に設定し、第２断裁刃の幅方向における位置を変更することで第２断裁刃を断裁位置又は退避位置に設定する。【選択図】図５
