Summary:To provide a press molding method and a press molding die that prevent cracking of a tip of a vertical wall part formed at a branch central part and bent back portions on both sides of the branch at the same time, in molding a press-molded article including a biforked top plate part and the vertical wall part continuous to the top plate part.SOLUTION: A press molding method includes: a first molding step S1 of overhang molding a top plate part 1, a first bent part 2, an intermediate vertical wall part 9 being a base end side of a vertical wall part 3, a second bent part 11, and a shelf part 13; a trimming step S3 of forming a flange part 25 by removing an unnecessary part from the shelf part 13; and a second molding step S5 of bending back the second bent part 11 and molding the vertical wall part 3. The press molding method performs the molding such that a bending radius R1C of a branch central part at the first bent part 2, a bending radius R1S of portions on both sides in a bending ridge line direction of the branch central part, a bending radius R2C of a branch central part at the second bent part 11, and a bending radius R2S of portions on both sides in the bending ridge line direction of the branch central part satisfy relationships of R2C<R2S and R2C<R1C and R1S≤R1C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】二股に分岐する天板部と、該天板部に連続する縦壁部を備えたプレス成形品を成形する際、分岐部中央部に形成される縦壁部の先端と、分岐部両側部における曲げ戻した部分の割れを同時に防止するプレス成形方法及びプレス成形金型を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係るプレス成形方法は、天板部1と、第1屈曲部2と、縦壁部3の基端側となる中間縦壁部9と、第2屈曲部11と、棚部13を張り出し成形する第1成形工程S1と、棚部13から不要部を除去してフランジ部25を形成するトリム工程S3と、第2屈曲部11を曲げ戻して、縦壁部3を成形する第2成形工程S5とを備え、第1屈曲部2における分岐部中央部の曲げ半径R1C、分岐部中央部の曲げ稜線方向両側の部分の曲げ半径R1S、第2屈曲部11における分岐部中央部の曲げ半径R2C、分岐部中央部の曲げ稜線方向両側の部分の曲げ半径R2Sが、R2C<R2SかつR2C<R1CかつR1S≦R1Cの関係を満たすように成形する。【選択図】 図1
