Summary:To provide dental zirconia mill blanks that can correspond to manufacture various forms of dental prostheses with one type of mill blank, to provide methods for manufacturing the same, and further to provide methods for manufacturing articles such as dental prostheses made of zirconia composite ceramics having good transparency and strength.SOLUTION: A dental zirconia mill blank is obtained by configuring a portion to be cut with a composite material which is allowed to retain inorganic oxide fine particles in the pores of a microporous temporary sintered body by immersing, for example, the microporous temporary sintered body of crystalline zirconium oxide powders containing a stabilizer and an aluminum oxide additive into a sol in which the inorganic oxide fine particles not contained in the temporary sintered body are dispersed in a dispersion medium, and subsequently removing the dispersion medium, and a dental prosthesis is obtained by cutting this using a CAD/CAM system and subsequently sintering it at high temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】 1種類のミルブランクで様々な形態の歯科用補綴物の製造に対応することができるジルコニア歯科用ミルブランク及びその製造方法を提供し、延いては透明性及び強度が良好なジルコニア複合セラミックスからなる、歯科用補綴物などの物品を製造する方法を提供する。【解決手段】 たとえば、安定化剤及び酸化アルミニウム添加剤を含む結晶性酸化ジルコニウム粉体の微多孔性仮焼結体を、当該仮焼結体には含まれない無機酸化物微粒子が分散媒中に分散したゾルに浸漬した後に分散媒を除去することにより、前記無機酸化物微粒子を微多孔性仮焼結体の細孔内に保持するようにした複合材料で被切削加工部を構成してジルコニア歯科用ミルブランクを得ると共に、これをCAD/CAMシステムを用いて切削加工した後に高温で焼結して歯科用補綴物を得る。【選択図】なし
