Summary:To provide a method for formation of a coating film which is excellent in transparency, and exhibits good scratch resistance and good weather resistance.SOLUTION: In a coating film formation method with use of a two-component clear paint composition in which a main agent (A) and a curing agent (B) are mixed and coated, the main agent (A) contains: a hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin (A-1) that has a hydroxyl value of 100 to 200 mgKOH/g and a mass average molecular weight of 2,000 to 20,000 g/mol; and a resin fine particle (A-2) having an average particle diameter of 0.01 to 1 μm. The resin fine particle is configured from: (a) a monomer with three or more polymerizable double bonds of 30 to 40% by mass; (b) a monomer with two polymerizable double bonds of 0 to 20% by mass; (c) a monomer with a hydroxyl group and one polymerizable double bond of 0 to 7% by mass; and (d) a monomer with one polymerizable double bond other than (a), (b) and (c) of 33 to 70% by mass, and in the resin fine particle, a total amount of (a), (b), (c) and (d) is 100% by mass.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】透明性に優れ、かつ良好な耐傷付き性、良好な耐候性を示す塗膜形成方法を提供する。【解決手段】主剤(A)及び硬化剤(B)を混合して塗装する二液型クリヤー塗料組成物を用いる塗膜形成方法において、主剤(A)は、水酸基価100~200mgKOH/g、質量平均分子量2,000~20,000g/molである、水酸基含有アクリル樹脂(A-1)と、(a)3個以上の重合性二重結合を有する単量体:30~40質量%、(b)2個の重合性二重結合を有する単量体:0~20質量%、(c)水酸基および1個の重合性二重結合を有する単量体:0~7質量%、および(d)(a)、(b)および(c)以外の1個の重合性二重結合を有する単量体:33~70質量%、から構成され、(a)、(b)、(c)および(d)の合計量を100質量%とする、平均粒子径0.01~1μmの樹脂微粒子(A-2)と、を含有することを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
