To provide an image data transmission apparatus which allows only a user who has executed a transmission job to refer to a transmission status even when the user having executed the transmission job is not authenticated or registered.SOLUTION: A data transmission apparatus includes: an operation unit which receives a command from a user; a transmission status generation unit which generates a dedicated page to refer to a transmission status of image data; a display unit which displays various kinds of screens; and a control unit which controls the operation unit, the transmission status generation unit, and the display unit.
