The comparator 223 compares a pixel signal of a signal voltage Vin depending on an incident light amount of a sensor pixel with a ramp signal selected by the signal voltage Vin, of a plurality of ramp signals VrefH and VrefL generated by the ramp signal generating circuit 221.
