Summary:To provide an object detection device that can identify a target in a short time.SOLUTION: An object detection device comprises: a transmission and reception unit 4 that transmits a survey wave being a carrier wave, receives the carrier wave, and outputs a received signal corresponding to the received carrier wave; and a determination unit 7 that detects a reflection point of a target having reflected the survey wave and determines the target including the reflection point. When a plurality of reflection points are detected based on the received signal, the determination unit 7 ranks the plurality of reflection points based on the distance from the transmission and reception unit 4, selects two reflection points adjacent in the ranking, of the two reflection points, takes one reflection point at a shorter distance from the transmission and reception unit 4 as a first reflection point and the other reflection point as a second reflection point, and based on the comparison between the direction of the first reflection point and the direction of the second reflection point, determines whether the first reflection point and the second reflection point are included in the same target.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】短時間で物標を識別できる物体検知装置を提供する。【解決手段】物体検知装置であって、搬送波である探査波を送信するとともに、搬送波を受信し、受信した搬送波に対応する受信信号を出力する送受信部4と、受信信号に基づいて、探査波を反射した物標の反射点を検知し、該反射点が含まれる物標を判定する判定部7と、を備え、判定部7は、受信信号に基づいて複数の反射点が検知されたとき、該複数の反射点を送受信部4からの距離に基づいて順位付けし、該順位付けにおいて隣り合う2つの反射点を選択し、該2つの反射点のうち送受信部4からの距離がより近い一方の反射点を第1反射点とし、他方の反射点を第2反射点とし、第1反射点の方位と第2反射点の方位との比較に基づいて、第1反射点と第2反射点とが同一の物標に含まれるか否かを判定する。【選択図】図1
