To inhibit oil shortage in a slide part of a bearing device.SOLUTION: A bearing device includes: a carrier ring forming a cylindrical shape; bearing pads provided on an inner peripheral surface of the carrier ring and each having a pad surface which supports the rotary shaft so that the rotary shaft may rotate around an axis; nozzles each of which is provided in the carrier ring and supplies a lubrication oil to an area between an outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft and the pad surface; and a cover provided between the inner peripheral surface of the carrier ring and the outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft in a circumferential position different from positions of the bearing pads and having a wedge inner peripheral surface which is located closer to the rotary shaft toward the downstream side in a rotation direction of the rotary shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】軸受装置の摺動部での油不足を抑制する。【解決手段】円筒状をなすキャリアリングと、該キャリアリングの内周面に設けられて回転軸を軸線回りに回転可能に支持するパッド面を有する軸受パッドと、前記キャリアリング内に設けられて、前記回転軸の外周面と前記パッド面との間に潤滑油を供給するノズルと、前記軸受パッドとは異なる周方向位置で前記キャリアリングの内周面と前記回転軸の外周面との間に設けられて、前記回転軸の回転方向下流側に向かうに従って前記回転軸に近接するくさび内周面を有するカバーと、を備える軸受装置。【選択図】図２
